So, I’m kinda through at work, but still have about an hour before my class starts and with traffic around Statesboro the way it is, I wouldn’t really be able to do anything but drive some place to eat, run through the pickup window, and drive back to my office, so I’ve decided just to hang back and stay until class. I’m already tired, but that may have something to do with the turkey sandwich I had for lunch. This will be my second class in graduate level tonight, and my impression so far is good. I think I will enjoy them, but it’s going to be a lot of work, much more than undergrad was. I kinda like the schedule, kinda don’t. Tuesday and Wednesday are going to be very long days, pretty much tweleve hours I’ll be putting in between work and class. Then there’s the rest of the stuff that has to get done on the days I don’t actually go to class. My inital doubts of wanting to go back have subsided, but I’m just going to be so busy. I think the best thing that could have happened to me was not being able to start last year and getting the job I have now, but it’s going to be really tough to work and go to school. I’ll have to practice a lot of time management, since when I get off of work I just want to go home and crash. Instead I’ll have to go home, break out the books, do a bunch of reading, some writing, and extra stuff. The job may have helped in the essence that I’m used to having such a long task list now, and having to still get those tasks done in a timely fashion. Maybe the next couple of years will go by fast. We’ll see.
