So, I applied for a job at Georgia Southern, one of the technology positions open there. Lemme just give you a rundown of this job. I’d be doing what I did at BPC, for the most part, working in the same environment, but much, much (much) larger. If I were to get this job, I’d be perfectly set for the next couple of years, and possibly for a career. This job is awesome, and I really, REALLY, want it. Wow…this job is perfect…which means, it’s too good to be true, which means I doubt I’ll get it. Isn’t that how things work? This is the best thing that could happen for me, so that lowers the chances of me getting it by like 90%. Here’s the deal, the last day to submit app’s is today. I submitted mine like two or three weeks ago. I don’t know how their internal process works, but it may be a few days before they even start interviewing, and they may not even decide to call me back. If they do, then there is that whole interview stage which is scary in itself. I know I can do the job, I know I am qualified (overly) for the job. I just need that chance to prove it. So, if you are feeling generous, remember me in a quick prayer. I hate asking that, because it feels selfish, but I really do need this, and I could use all the backup I can get in prayer on this 😛 I’ll post an update as soon as I hear anything, and thanks guys.
