In an attempt to broaden my horizons with the website I have decided to record some of my smaller blogs and post them here as audio files. Mainly this is for you to get a sense of how I felt the post should have been read. I’ve always been fascinated with journalism by audio so I may look into doing this a little more in the future. For now please listen to the works I have completed.

It’s the Hesitation

I think every good story needs some bad event or thing to happen in order to allow the reader to completely connect to the character. If all your characters go through are happy times, their lives seem fake. Adversity is something we all face in our lives, and a well rounded story will show that in the lives of its characters. This is just a snippet from something larger that shows the trouble in someone’s life. I felt that it needed to be read because it touched me as I wrote it, but I guess the author will always have the utmost empathy for his characters.

Monologue to Seclusion

This is a very short blog I wrote in response to some things going on in my life. It is a culmination of several things and none at the same time, with a lot of artistic flare thrown in. Some people can take the text literal, some cannot, it really depends on how you feel that day.
